I bought Pet Dental dental care liquid form to add to my 4 pugs water to control plaque and tarter and freshen breath. Now Some co-workers don’t think it’s safe to do and I’m wondering if it is or isn’t.
Sure it’s safe, as long as it’s MADE to go in your pet’s water.
If it’s not supposed to, that’s bad and you woulsnt want your dog to ingest it.
I will be completing my 4 year degree in nursing in June. Out of curiosity I was wondering, do dental hygienists get paid more than registered nurses? And if so, how long would it take for me to go back to school and become a dental hygienists?
Nurses usually get paid more or about the same as a RDH. However you as a RN will find much more work than a RDH. Plus RDHs don’t get benefits, not even health insurance, unlike RNs.
my dentist for a full partials up n down it was like 3000 and for them at sexton dental clinic it was like 400 dollars . now i only want partial uppers and i think there like 200-250 at sexton dental dental clinic ?
You may be treated like an assembly line patient and be given very low quality partials. Also the dentists (if that’s who will be working on you) may not be very good. Usually you get what you pay for.

I’m 20 and considering joining the ANG. I recently had my gall badder taken out and had stints put in my liver so they could later remove a stone. This happened a few months ago and I feel much better. I’m pretty healthy person at a healthy weight and I thought this would be a good choice to getting my life on track. I’m considering Dental or dental assisting. How long will I have to be at tech school?
No one can really answer that except the medical personell at MEPS after reveiwing your medical history and go through thier physical exam. As far as dental assisting school, I am not sure but i wouldnt think that it is any more than 10 weeks.
I would like to know what it’s like being an employee of Midwest Dental branch office. My boss is considering selling out to them and I would like to know what to expect when they take over. I work in the front office and would like to know about how they treat their employees, what the pay rate might be, and what to expect as far as rules, dress codes, how strict they are about things.

How safe it is to go for dental treatment with dental student in dental school?I don’t have dental insurance and I am going to start dental treatment from next thursday.Is there any risk involved?I am older and close to 50 with High Blood pressure(Taking Diovan HCT everyday to control it)
Probably safer than with anyone else, these new dentist are performing dentistry with a highly skilled and seasoned dental instructor watching over their shoulder, critiquing their every move throughout each procedure. The work may be somewhat slower, but then again, don’t you agree that doing something slower lessens the chance of error? You are in good hands with these young dentist’s, they know the work and how to perform it, but they need the practice to aquire the speed before going out and hanging their shingle.

Being indirectly involved in the dental surgery and dental cosmetics business, I am now trying to identify the best ways of sourcing foreign dental patients (particularly the UK dental patients and dental health tourists) who are now looking for cheaper dentists and dental cosmetics services outside the borders of their home countries.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could simply refer me to the right track or the right way of thinking when it comes to most effectively reaching the target audience which is in this case foreign dental cosmetics patients who would be happy to travel abroad in order to get their teeth fixed much cheaper than in their home countries.
Naturally, some simple questions have come up such as:
Can any online forums used by dental patients or dental health tourists be recommended?
Any ways of accessing the dental patients waiting lists?
How to best source and reach dental health tourists (particularly those coming from the UK as their home country) who are now looking to significantly save their money when getting their teeth professionally fixed?

So travelling abroad 2 get cheap dental treatment ,with a dentist you do not know, and who you may not see regularly is not a good option .
One often sees over treatment (ie treatment done that was not needed) from “dental tourists”.So all Im saying is BE AWARE and assess it well.One way is 2 get a plan of treatment needed locally and compare it 2 the proposed treatment abroad . They will not be exactly the same but should not differ radically……If they do then ask why !!!!!
